We start with fresh garlic grown on the Mid North Coast of NSW Australia. Fermenting for a month turns this garlic inky black and it develops a date-like texture.
The umami-packed black garlic now has a sweet & earthy taste, without the bitterness of raw garlic.
Eat whole or chop finely. Delicious served with cheese, on it’s own or with pasta.
